When I first took the rod out of the box, I thought it looked nice. After looking it over more closely later that day, though, I noticed the wraps were uneven, and the handle felt cheaper than I expected. For the price, I was hoping for better build quality, so after using it for a bit, I felt let down.

I had a question about my order. Customer service got back fast. Clear answer. Nice tone. The follow-up took a bit longer than I hoped, but it was still a good experience.

I was frustrated with this because the power rating didn’t feel right at all. I had a basic expectation here, and it felt like that was ignored. The action was okay, but the power was way off from what I thought I was getting

I had a bad first impression as soon as I opened the box. The rod had sloppy epoxy around the guides, a small gap near the reel seat, and the wrap looked uneven, like someone rushed through it.
It does fish okay, so it’s not totally useless, but for the money I expected much better fit and finish. I reached out about it and didn’t really get much help, which made the whole thing even more frustrating. I wouldn’t buy it again

I kinda regret not paying more attention to the website before getting interested in the brand. The site just feels really dated and messy to browse, like it hasn’t been updated in a long time. The colors and layout don’t really work together, and a few sections almost look unfinished. For a rod brand, I expected something a lot cleaner and more polished. It’s hard to take it seriously when the website gives off such an old-fashioned vibe.

At first glance the rod looked good, but once I actually handled it, the guides and reel seat felt cheaper than they should for the price. There were also a few rough edges, which seems like something that should’ve been caught before shipping. I’m not expecting perfection, but common sense says a rod in this price range shouldn’t feel this unfinished

I was hoping this rod would be a bit more sensitive than it is. It feels a little muted in my hand, so lighter bites can be hard to notice unless the fish really commits. The build quality seems fine overall, and it’s not a bad rod by any means, but for the price I was just expecting a bit more feel.

Not gonna lie, this rod feels a lot heavier than I expected, and the balance just seems off. After using it for even a short session, my wrist starts getting tired quickly.

I grabbed a rod from Leviathan Rods after checking out a bunch of options, i’m happy with it. The price felt reasonable, and when it showed up, it had a solid feel to it, definitely not cheap or flimsy like I was a little worried it might be.
I’ve used it a handful of times now, and it’s been performing better than I expected for what I paid. It’s not some perfect high-end setup, but for the cost, it’s a really good deal. Shipping went smoothly too, so overall I’d say it was a solid buy.

The rod showed up later than expected, and the box was completely smashed when it got here. The packaging was poor, so I wasn’t surprised it didn’t feel right out of the box. It works when it wants to, which is frustrating. Overall, not a great experience.

Just a heads up for anyone thinking about buying this: mine didn’t even make it through one fishing trip. It broke way too soon, and I definitely wouldn’t trust it for a full day out.

First impression: it’s got power. I hooked into a couple bigger fish and the rod handled the hard runs without feeling sketchy. That said, I quickly decided it’s a bit too stiff for my liking. Smaller fish don’t feel all that exciting on it, and at times I felt like I was losing some sensitivity. It’s definitely not a bad rod, but I was expecting a better balance once a fish was on. For me, 3 stars feels about right.
